Skinny Ships - Final

These are a sneak peak at the finals, Doubt, Arrogance, Value, Strive and Elegance.

They all need to be trimmed, signed, editioned and packaged.

Print Folder

I was flicking through some stuff in the print room and founf this way of packaging prints, I have no clue how to do stuff like this so very kindly, Caroline Pratt from the print room drew up this double sided net and instructions.

I will seal it with a paper band and silkscreen the label, old paper from the miss prints will be recycled when doing so.

Skinny Ships - Test Prints

The first pic is of the test prints, to make sure the screen isn't fucked up and make sure all the colours are right.

The halftone on the Lance and Marilyn prints messed up so it came out with a checkered pattern.

The last one is when i forgot to re-expose the screen. Basically with the tracing paper instead of asthetate the exposure has to be on for longer, but too long it will all start to expose. So it just needs a quick blast in the exposure unit before you print, I forgot, resulting in blockages.

Headline X-Ray Scanner - 4

These are the final ideas and the ideas that have been chosen for the Headline Screen-Print Exhibition in Urban Outfitters, Leeds.

All in all I am very happy with the designs, they work as a set and still make sense. It is a kind of fun idea making people different from their exterior, but a idea that has finally worked.

Headline X-Ray Scanner - 3

This was the second overlay idea, once again, it just didn't work.

Headline X-Ray Scanner - 2

These are some ideas for a colour overlay once silkscreened. The idea was a good one and the initial drawings I did worked, but once I digitized them the whole idea went to pot. I think the execution would have been very difficult to get perfect.

Headline X-Ray Scanner - 1

These were my initial ideas for the new Headline X-Ray scanner briefs. After a crit I realized that this idea of the scanner is a good one, but I could play around with what is underneath.
